Common Buttons and Icons
Eagle CMMS employs numerous action buttons and icons. The following illustrates and defines some of the most frequently used that are found on many windows throughout the application.
Many other buttons are found in Eagle CMMS. These are described in Eagle CMMS Buttons List.
Located at the upper right of many windows, the Add button opens a window where you can create a new record. |
The Submit WO button is located on the top left of the page near the logo. It is available on almost every window and is used to create a work order record. In many cases, the new work order must be approved before the work is assigned to Staff to perform the work. |
The Edit button appears next to each record item on List windows. Click the button to open the record and make your changes. |
To export records to a spreadsheet, select the CSV button. It is often found at the upper right of a List window. Once you click the button, Eagle CMMS automatically generates a spreadsheet file showing items that are in view on the current List page. |
When a hard copy is needed, use the Multi-Print button. From a List window, mark the check box that is on the left side of any records you want to print. Your browser’s print popup asks you to select the desired printer and other options before selecting a Print button. |
Individual Work Order records include a Print button to print a single Work Order. Like the Multi-Print button, your browser’s Print window opens for you to select options and print. |
Click the Plus button on popup windows to select items such as Parts. The item is added to the window and is visible when you close the popup. |
Required fields are marked with a red asterisk throughout Eagle CMMS. These fields must be completed before you can save a new record. |
The Save button is used on many windows and popup windows to save work when you add new records or information. |
After the first Save, some records remain open and additional sections become visible below the general information. After making changes to a section, you have the option of using the Save & Stay button to save changes to a section but keep the record open in Edit mode so you can make changes to other sections. |
The Save & Back button saves changes to the lower sections of a record and returns to the List View page. |
When creating Templates in Eagle CMMS, you have the option to Save or to Save & Generate a record using the Template. |
The Save & View All button is the same as Save & Back. On a Building record, it returns you to the View All window. |
